Hello everyone,
Have you had a project in the back of your mind that you have wanted to work on for a long time? Well I sure have! I finally sat down Monday night and worked on my Simply Adorned Charms for my necklace. I've been meaning to do this for a long time...I've had the pieces and parts for a good two months already! I know...hateful!
I'm really happy with the way they turned out and have worn the necklace every day since I made it! I already have some ideas for alternates that I can swap out and have a totally different look! You can make these as simple or complex as you like!
I used the sample in our current Summer Mini Catalog for inspiration. I used the large rectangle charm for my largest piece. In the medium square, I used a white flower that I died with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker. My smallest charm is the same little brown bird shown in the sample picture. You can find this on page 15 of the current Summer Mini Catalog. These are also featured in the new 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog on page 189. They have some really cute samples in the catalog too! You can see why we call it the "Idea Book" and Catalog. You really don't have to look very far for inspiration!
