Yesterday was the Kidd Coffee fund-raising event. A huge thank you to Bryan Converse for opening up his coffee shop for this event! We ended up having a fair turnout. There were people stopping by throughout the morning to get a coffee and make a card. At one point, a youth group stopped in and each of the kids made at least one card. Everyone that participated was thrilled to make a card to share with a soldier. Here are a few photos from the morning. The camera guy (MDH) was only at the coffee shop right after set up. This is why you don't see any crowds in the photos! Here also is a photo of
the staff...they worked so hard making sure everyone was happy! What a great group of young people Bryan has working for him! I know they won't be happy having their photos shown on the blog...I have to show you photos of my friends Jennifer and Cheryl who gave of their time to help me with this event. Thank you so much girls! Also a big thank you to my walking buds who do not stamp at all and made beautiful cards! I knew you could do it! I will be taking all of our cards to the Red Cross tomorrow for the Thank You Foundation. Their Packing Party is Thursday evening and all of the cards will then be on their way to some of our troops!

Cindy,
What a great thing you did for our young men and women at war. I know when they get their cards, they will be happy to know someone back home cared enough to have taken the time to have made them. And what a credit to you to take that time for them!! Loved your pics!!
Thank You!!
