I'm so excited...the man in brown delivered a box of goodies today! Here are just a few of the things that arrived.
I am thrilled that Stampin' Up! came out with these new punches. They will make our card and project making so much quicker and fun. I love the square scallop punch and the 1-3/4" cirlce punch. Just the right size for layering with the scallop punch. I also received some of the new accessories brads and clips...they will add just the accent.
Here is a project I was working on last night.
This is a giant clothes pin that I have stained and added some retired Designer Series Paper to. Other items I added to decorate the clothes pin are white rub-ons (such a
great way to quickly add detail), a chipboard flower which I embellished with our Chunky Blue Sprinkles (pg. 190 of the new IBC). The Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive (pg. 191 of the new IBC) works great to hold that glitter on...just brush it across the surface, add your glitter and let dry. The picture you see inside my flower if my cutie pie niece Sarah. She is sporting a very shimmery wig in this photo.
Too adorable!
Here are some close-ups so you can see the detail of each embellishment...notice the silver clip at the top of the scallop note. This clip is from the new Clip Assortment (pg. 184 of the new IBC). On the back of the clothes pin, I added a layered flower using a Baja Breeze Flower Fusion (pg. 182 of the new IBC), a small flower from the Pretties Kit (pg. 185 of the new IBC) which I died using Certain Celery Ink Refill, and finally, a medium Cirlce Ice Rhinestone Brad (also pg. 185 of the new IBC). I love the way this came out. I hope you enjoy it too!
